Global Health Works Better When It's Local
These days, localization can seem like a buzzword, but it's more than a trend. Community-driven efforts lead to stronger, more sustainable health outcomes. In this episode, Durrell Fox, a community health worker and consultant at JSI; Dyness Kasungami, director for the Secretariat of the Global Child Health Task Force and lead for JSI’s Reimagining Technical Assistance (RTA) initiative; and Patience Ndlovu, former director of the Bantwana Initiative, discuss the impact of shifting decision-making power and resources to communities and local partners.
