Inclusive Digital Health Starts with Visionary Leadership

In a world rapidly shifting to digital health solutions, how do we make sure we’re using technology to increase, not restrict, access to systems and services? In this episode, Biruh Abere, senior technical director for the USAID Digital Health Activity in Ethiopia; Romain Tohouri, senior health management information systems advisor; and Stephanie Watson-Grant, director of the USAID-funded Country Health Information Systems and Data Use (CHISU) program, explore how strategic vision, strong partnerships, and adaptive digital health approaches are necessary to build more equitable health systems.

In Ethiopia, JSI works with the Ministry of Health to transform medication management, equip health extension workers with digital tools, and champion women in digital health.

Learn more about how the USAID CHISU program integrates a gender perspective to foster more equitable health information systems.
